When you invite a woman as dynamic as
to share a story with you, you are bound to receive gold. She grounded her storytelling in a framework of the powerful role our imaginations play in moving head knowledge to heart knowledge. She shared the context of her journey and the way an imaginative encounter with Mama God met her in a profound way. Afterward, she led us through our own imaginative exercise to conceive of God as a mother bird teaching her young to fly. My description doesn’t do it justice, you’ll just have to listen.I have been reflecting on the imagery and sisterhood I experienced in this circle all week. It truly is transformative.
