You and Anni are my most faithful fans! Thanks for being the tribe that let's my soul sigh in contentment :) As I approach the ending of the novel, I am thinking of people who I'd like to ask to read it, and you are the two that come to mind first.
Ooooh, also I meant to mention: I LOVED reading The Wet Engine a few years ago. Was JUST thinking about it this week, so . . . funny you should quote it here!
I was thinking more about your offer to read the novel when it is finished (this month?!) and I think it may just have been written for you. It sits right in the middle of the Venn diagram of Christianity, the divine feminine, and people not being mean. Well, some people are mean in the story, but the whole point is that they shouldn't be.
I am so excited! YES! Oh, and this goes right along with my theology class at the moment. If God is not mean (vengeful, violent, cruel), why are so many characters and narrators in the text that way? Really important question.
I relate to so much of what you've shared here. You've given me much to think about. I love that about your writing.

That would be an honor.
I'm sorry I missed this today but I hope to join a call sometime in the future and obviously would love to hear more of your story sometime :)

Gorgeous. Yes to the wrestling, yes to the stories.
